I’ll Never Understand…
You know, I don’t think I’ll ever fully understand my husband. Then again, he could say the same about me, I’m sure. I’m an enigma…wrapped in mystery…coated in chocolate…with a chewy nougat center.
But I digress…
For anyone who doesn’t already know - I live in Texas. On Wednesday or Thursday of this past week, it was in the 80’s, approaching 90. Today we’re in the 40’s. I’m as used to the massive temperature fluctuations as I am the rapid changes in storm behavior. I’ve lived here my whole life so I guess I wouldn’t understand anything else.
Tonight, we decided to head to Taco Bell for a cheap feast and then to the grocery store to get it out of the way. I knew it would be cold and as such, I knew I would be cold. I dressed in jeans and a thick sweatshirt. What do you think hubby wore?
Khaki shorts and a t-shirt.
I know he grew up in Ohio where the weather was far cooler than here, but I’ll never understand how the weather that causes me to to into convulsive shivers is “shorts weather” to him.
