Take Your Vitamins
Guess who’s back from floating around in the ether? Um, that would be me, in case you couldn’t figure it out.
Anyway…
I thought I’d come back with a post on something I’ve noticed lately in my own life. Sadly, it’s always my life I have to write about. Hmm…must be the pitfall of working from home.
Just so we’re all on the same page, I don’t really do so well at following doctor’s orders all the time. I mean, if it’s a medication that’s going to keep me alive then, sure, it’s not like I have a death wish. What I have trouble with are those little recommendations they like to give.
You know…like taking your vitamins every day.
I know, I know. I should be taking vitamin supplements each day, but I have a really good reason for not taking them. They taste bad and they usually have an aftertaste. I’m not a fan of that. At all.
Well, I decided on Sunday night that I should start taking my vitamins that I’ve had for a while. I wish I could say I realized the error of my ways; I didn’t. It was actually the result of spending a large portion of the day reading about how the FDA is trying to starve us to death (I’ll be writing up that little conspiracy on a different blog) and then I had an incident with some cheese (I’ll tell you about that one in a future post here).
At any rate, I’ve been taking my women’s multi-vitamin, Vitamin D and Vitamin B-12 for the last three days now and I’m happy to report I can already feel the changes going on. Lots of new energy. I like that.
What I don’t like is the fact I’ve become so wired that I’m still awake at 4:30 in the morning. I must have missed the warning label on that one.
Welcome back, fellow philosophers. As you can see, I’ve not changed a bit.

So very true.
